Meeting Eckhart Tolle

I had to write about my wonderful experience meeting Eckhart Tolle, author of The Power of Now, A New Earth, and Stillness Speaks, which are 3 of my favorite books. How it happened is actually kind of a cute story. So, my business partner, Wellness Guru John Salley, was invited to an intimate dinner with Eckhart Tolle and a few other guests. I found out about the dinner…but not from John. John knows how much of a- “fan” is not the right word, hmmm let’s say “devout student” of Eckhart’s I am, and had not even mentioned anything about the dinner to me, so I was a bit hurt- to say the least. Truth be told, I was wondering why he hadn’t thought to take me. Anyway, as the date of the dinner was drawing closer, I finally brought it up with John myself and flat-out invited myself!
